Whats Better?

So my mate the other day bought a 40$ pod filter from super cheap auto and said that this would be more effective than my current stock air intake with the 'snorkel'.

Is this true? What are the Pros and cons?

Stick with ur air box bud i made 300kw with stock box. Ur mates losing power from heat absorption. Ask any competent tuner they'll tell u the same

I removed the pod on my 20det and I didn't noticed nor measured any power reduction. The turbo is quieter and the engine bay looks so much nicer than with a pod lying where it can.

The only way to make decent power on your natro skyline is to build one of these babys:

Guaranteed 10rwkw and super sick sounding induction noise, it sometimes even flutters if you back off after hard acceleration

I chopped the airbox in my R31 and it makes a purring noise on lift off. Does that count?
