Not done much about this. Today took the pedal switch out. Multi meter test says it works fine. The lights are still on after taking out the fuses and relays.and the switch.

Is there any way of getting an English/Strine wiring diagram? Anybody out there had this trouble???

So your saying that the Stop lights are on, Yet you have removed the Fuse, and checked the Switch as fitted to the pedal arm.
Question for you, is the switch etc on the ground side of the light ?? to if so then you have a short to ground somewhere check this earth your Multimeter and apply the Positive lead to the switch in Continuity Mode and if you get the buzzer sound (multimeter ) then this likely indicates that the switch is on the ground side of the bulb.

If this is the case then it sounds like you may have a short somewhere that is holding the lights on .

The intriguing part is the Fuse is out and you still have light on,
Do you have Fog Light's and High intensity Tail lights ? there could be a voltage leak there and this is why the lights are on independent of the fuse.

The Above is based on general vehicle wiring and may not be directly applicable to the Stagea either.

Have been all over checking and found there is a short somewhere in the tail light harness. I will have to start from the back and pull out all the interior linings and hope I find a wire that is bared and shorting.

Handy little gadget the multimeter.

    • So after having a think about what I was going to do I went with the banjo fitting option. As I'm in New Zealand I end up getting all the bit from Franklin performance for $200. Its better than the what I had before, but will have to put some tape around the ducting and once the car is going will send it and see how it goes 🏎💨🤙.
    • if you want them perfect you will need to strip and repaint (or better, powder coat). They look fine for most use though to me fixing light to medium gouges in the rim is pretty straightforward, can be done on a big lathe, or even on the car, on a hoist with tyre off. deep gouges get bog, no other option really
    • Hey just wondering how does the car drive now with the 4.11 gears now, was there any problems driving with the R33 A-lsd? Also did you upgrade the front diff when you changed to 4.11 gears?
    • If it's all just in paint, then....yes. Sort of. Depends on what you mean by "easily". Complete strip and powder coat? Easy. It's just you hand the wheels and a stack of coins to the wheel guy and they come back fixed. Damage to the alloy? Not easy. Still doable. Same basic method. Wheels + money to the wheel guy.
    • Found a set of Rays online for a pretty good price (missing centrecaps), do y'all reckon these chips/dents would be easily repairable?  https://imgur.com/a/My5Sxss
