Some of my tig welding 0.7mm 304s/s to 12mm flange!

DSC_0150_3.jpegthe switch on our 30yr old tig machiene died so I hooked up this as a interim setup to get jobs out. 10amp passageway light switch. Haha, Gold. It's still on the machiene, best switch we've ever had on it!

Man I thought you guys would have loved the welding and improvisation on the switch?
looks good!!!

Thanks it's 304 s/s to 1/2" m/s flange so pretty good. S/s to s/s always looks better. Just got a brand new Kempi tig. Love the old Hobart better. Full analouge pulse system. Just a shame it weighs about 800kg strapped it to a chep pallet with the radiator cooling tank and gas bottle, who says it's not portable?

The Hobart was connected to a 55amp 3phase plug in the old shop and would run 350amps. We only have 30amp plugs in the new shop so can only run it at about 180amps. You can carry the new Kempi on your shoulder plug it in to 15amp single phase and run 200amps. Crazy. Bombed 32 vs new 35. You know the outcome!

She should be ashamed of herself after you went to all the trouble of plugging in the toaster and boiling the water. If you do the dishes you'll be back in her good books!

Bourbon has loads of calories. The crumpets and 2 minute noodles are bad for u.

i put vegemite on the crumpets

the veggie goodness will cancel out any badness in the crumpets

If Vegemite is bad for u I'm a dead man, 3 crumpets loaded with the black gold for breakfast every morning!

    • Yep, the closest base tune available was for the GTT, I went with that and made all the logical changes I could find to convert it to Naturally Aspirated. It will rev fine in Neutral to redline but it will be cutting nearly 50% fuel the whole way.  If I let it tune the fuel map to start with that much less fuel it wont run right and has a hard time applying corrections.  These 50% cuts are with a fuel map already about half of what the GTT tune had.  I was having a whole lot of bogging when applying any throttle but seem to have fixed that for no load situations with very aggressive transient throttle settings. I made the corrections to my injectors with data I found for them online, FBCJC100 flowing 306cc.  I'll have to look to see if I can find the Cam section. I have the Bosch 4.9 from Haltech. My manifold pressure when watching it live is always in -5.9 psi/inHg
    • Hi My Tokico BM50 Brake master cylinder has a leak from the hole between the two outlets (M10x1) for brake pipes, I have attached a photo. Can anyone tell me what that hole is and what has failed to allow brake fluid to escape from it, I have looked on line and asked questions on UK forums but can not find the answer, if anyone can enlighten me I would be most grateful.
    • It will be a software setting. I don't believe many on here ever used AEM. And they're now a discontinued product, that's really hard to find any easy answers on. If it were Link or Haltech, someone would be able to just send you a ECU file though.
    • Yes sir am asking is there possible way from aem tuner from wiring pins
    • Have you checked cam to crank timing and confirmed balancer marks are correct?
