Neo Cam Noise Plus Car Is Running A Lot Hotter

Installed kelford 272 vct cams with valve springs head was also reco cams where shimmed now I get this noise plus the oil temp sits around 100/110deg water is around 90deg

Have been told this is normal ???

Those cams would throw out the tune quite a bit.

Not sure in this particular case, but some cam lobe profile are noisy. If kelford says it's normal think of it as a speed noise. Badge of Honour.

What's the lift on the cams? Did you have to machine the head?

I'm not sure I can find out the head got done cause they did the head gasket and arp stud

Yes it's tuned made 470hp on 18psi on 98 the engine just sound like a Diesel

Interesting, mine did the same thing as you saw and we couldn't find what caused it.. awesome power btw.

Trying to get a vid of it on the dyno from my tuner

Precision5858 6boost , cometic hg apr studs,50mm ts wg, plazaman ffp fmic

1000cc inj, 460lp walbo , vipec v44. Have fuel flex fitted

Just have to get a better map sensor for the e85 which will be around 25/30psi
