R32 Gtr Clutch Slave Cylinder Replacement

Recommended Posts

Hello all,

I'm brand new to the forum, and to the GTR scene as well. I recently imported a 1990 R32 GTR to the USA, Pittsburgh Pennsylvania to be exact. I know it's bad form to start out with a new thread, but I have been searching with no luck for a walk through or a guide to replacing the slave cylinder in a 90 GTR. I've found tons of info on how to bleed it, bypass the "damper" box, etc. If anyone could point me to a guide it would be very appreciated.

Also, to clarify, I have the old slave off and the new Nismo Big Slave on along with the line connected again. I am looking for a guide to bleeding the entire clutch hydraulic system, start to finish, with pictures if possible. Thanks for the help.

Hi, recently did this in my R32 GTR, best way is to check out the bypass damper thread and follow the instuctions on it. Removing the 'looped' clutch line and running a direct HEL braided line is the best way, also make bleeding it 10x's easyer!

Cheers,
