Just start up a page, even put a link up here on SAU under the Tas section or even advertise it on the couple of Skyline fb pages also, People should join up - but that being said your biggest problem will be actually getting people to go on cruises/events. I'm pretty sure a few years ago when I was living in W.A some people tried to start up a Tas SAU group, they even got sticker's made up from memory but I never really heard or saw anything after that.

Another member and myself have knocked up an SAU TAS facebook page. not sharing on facebook land yet trying to keep it to SAU forum members here in Tasmania.

    • Are we not talking about triggering the various solenoids in it though? We're not talking about a "pump". There's no pump, right? The pressure comes from the MC. The ABS unit just opens and closes valves. 4 of them.
    • here's a wild thought, could we not just directly power the pump itself? It looks like the relays up top, just feed two wires to the ABS pump. Being a 90s Nissan shit box, I can't imagine it being anymore sophisticated
    • I downloaded the apps (for windows) and Consult 1 doesn't have this function on it for the Consult 1 plug which I'm pretty sure all Skylines have. You would think someone would have a workaround after 30 years for all Skylines which have ABS.
    • Also, I don't know the actual ABS system on the skylines, but a sneaky thing could be a piece of electronic equipment that makes the ABS think you're moving, and then same piece can send a signal for a locked up tyre... Activate ABS without slamming brakes...
    • The team at OBD2 Australia are pretty good, shoot them an email and ask them. I've dealt with them before for work stuff. I'd be shocked if it didn't work, so long as Consult can activate the ABS. But you might need to use KLine for it which would be the stopper, as I don't think that piece does KLine comms.
