Hey guys,

I've had a set of the GKTech braided brake lines installed on my r33 gtst for a while now, but my wof inspector has just picked up that they are fouling on the stud from the sway bar link and that it's a wof failure, now these hose are a different design to factory brake lines as it is one solid hose from chassis to brake caliper rather than having the box bolted to the caliper.

Have any of you had this issue and if you have how did you fix it? I was thinking of using some P clamps but I cant see anywhere suitable to clamp it to without stretching and straining the hose :/

Any help would be highly appreciated!

Cheers

shit man. There's a stud already right there from where the factory brake line bolts on. Get a p-clamp, make a bracket up, you got to get that shit out of the way of the swaybar for sure, not surprised he failed it.

fair enough, yes that is a different kettle o fish...but make up a bracket, stick a p-clamp on it ( I use a pretty loose fit, just enough to guide it not hold tight on it) and loop it around like the factory bracket does.
