Dan076
Elgrand Thinking of buying an elgrand from a dealer. Love the styling and comfort. I will be removing all the rear seats to use it as a 2 seater occasional weekend camper (bed and storage only no cooking, sink) for road trips and music festivals. Will be my daily drive too. Are there any pitfalls i should know about eg parts, servicing, reliability, fuel efficiency, life expextency for engine etc. 98% of the time i will be the only occupant. I live in regional nsw and do very little city driving. Looked at vw caddy, Citroën, renault, hyundai iload, toyota hiace but feel like work vehicles. Elgrand seems to fit same pricepoint. PranK
I love Elgrands. I'd be worried about how low they are being a camper from regional NSW. I don't know squat about them though you could ask in the General Discussion area to get more attention. DJBarnstar
We have one. It's awesome but the Autech is VERY low. Comfy, fuel is 12 on the highway, 15 in town fully loaded. Make sure you get one that is registered as a 7 seater, if not allow $1000 to convert from camper and you will want cruise control which is another $800. 2 Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/468808-elgrand/#findComment-7807570 Share on other sites
