R34 center brake light bulb replacement

[HKN34]

I just can't seem to unplug the bulb's housing, there's an indicator that says "Lock" with an arrow pointing clockwise.

But when I try to rotate it to counter clockwise, it seems like it just won't turn and it feels like it is locked, I'm afraid it will break if i try harder.

Am i missing a step?

Give it a squirt with some silicone lube.
