Fuel pump creating misfire?

just a quick question

have been trying to sort out a misfire my rb25det aus 4 door r31 has under hard load.

have tried coils afm plugs fuel filter, checked all hoses , you name it its been thought of.

it has cooler, 3 inch turbo back zorst, twin plate nismo clutch, 500hp walbro fuel pump. its on stock boost, there is no bleed etc to raise it

one thing that has come to mind - maybe the pump has been mounted too low in the tank , causing the strainer to be squashed or similar.

could this cause a stutter at 4500rpm and above on full load ( ie wide open throttle)

if you bring it up slowly its ok, if you use less then 90% throttle its fine. if you downchange hard its bad, and seems a little worse on low tanks of fuel.

im begining to think this may be the case, but since i have no mechanical skill id like to hear what ppl think before i pay for someone to pull it out

im at wits end, drag wars is on in a week and i want to go with a healthy car
