Hey All,

Just a question that ive asked a lot of people, and everytime i ask anyone, i get a different answer, so i thought who better to ask than you guys.

A friend of mine is selling his 300ZX TT and is selling some parts from the car seperately. I am interested in buying his Apexi Power FC and Dual Stage Boost controller.

the question is, is it safe to install those parts, boost the car to 10psi on LOW setting and 14psi on HIGH setting without a FMIC?

Ive asked some people and they said no worries, but others said its ok to do if you want to blow up your engine and turbo.

What the real story?

Thanks all,

Goran

You should be fine with 14 psi with stock intercooler. Just make sure your tuning is nice and safe and not too lean... I ran 0.9 bar (14psi) with PowerFC and stock IC for about 8 months... No worries.

But if you're thinking of using a PowerFC off his 300ZX on your R32, that ain't gonna work :) PowerFCs are model specific. You can't even use an R33 GTR PowerFC on an R33 GTS-t.
