it might sound easy to get one of these through nengun, but they still have to source one (which isnt easy), then you have to pay shipping and might get stung for duty. overall the wait might be a long time.

as i said, i ordered this through an importer and it took 6 months to find. these are rarer than all other powerfcs (especially in Aus) so you cant expect to get one for the same price as for other cars. i paid much more than 800 for this so im not willing to sell at that price. how about an offer that reflects the availability of this computer??

yes for rb20. look up www.nengun.com and ask them go to performance parts and see just seen today rb20 brand new power fc 1200 buxs wihout controller

maybe so but thats very different to walking to corner store to pick one up. they have to find it then send it. meanwhile you wait for it to be found, then pay for shipping, then wait for it to arrive.

at this price you are paying for the fact that it is in the country right now ready to go.

i am not disputing this and no it wont be the same price as picking one up here. the face is that urs is a USED power Fc. No matter how long it was on there for the main thing it was used it is not brand new anymore. i am in the market for an fc so dont think i am just abusing ur thread. u tell me what u think is a resonable price for your fc and we will go from there

ok, well this price has not been simply picked out of the air. it reflects the price that i paid for it, and the fact that i waited 6 months for it to arrive. i thought it only logical that given the low supply i could get a few hundy more than what i paid. anywho, i paid $1400 for this unit and im not going to loose money on this. you can have the unit for that price.

Sorry Mate I Cannot See The Sense In Buying A Second Hand Power Fc For 1400 When A New One Is 1200 I Would Have To Be Out Of My Mind. Anyway Good Luck With Ur Sale Hope It Goes Well I Am Still Interested So If Ur Keen To Sell At A More Reasonable Price For A Second Hand Item Please Message Me :burnout: :burnout:

why dont you try and buy one through them and then tell me how easy and quick it is. also by the time the thing arives it will end up costing well more than 1200. when i was originally looking for this an importer quoted me 1800 to my door. being second hand doesnt matter cause there arent many of these in the country, new or used. im not being tight, im just asking for what i paid. your offerring the kind of money that a used 33 unit goes for. i think thats being tight considering the supply of them going around. it costs more cause they are rare and its in the country now.

i bought a power fc with handcontoller from nengun it took 6 days to arrive on my door and has 12 months warranty, all for $1180 incl freight brand new.

I am about to purchase a power fc pro (air flow meter removal) for the rb20 with handcontroller for $1350 from nengun incl freight.

youre price is reasonable when looking at what you paid, but it is not reasonable looking at the current market on these prodcuts, nengun is unbeatable and is a wholesaler direct from Apexi, i can bet my life he wont have any problem sourcing one.

I bought a playstation 2 when they first came out, cost me $600, I sold it 2 weeks later but could only sell it for $550.

Basically when selling something 2nd hand regardless of the age of the product, the buyer will always dictate the price.

By all means try and sell it for what you paid, but I wouldn't think on here is where you'll do it. It's going to like selling snow to the eskimo's.

Personally i'd cut my losses and sell it for around $1200, because they will only get cheaper i'd reckon. Then you'll get even less.......

Your call :D

    • Yeah, plenty of air flow, there is a dedicated path that feeds the air in to the OEM intake tube behind the bumper As for a "tangible effect", maybe, but getting the pod/intake air out of the hot engine bay is worth it psychologically to me, even if it gives no performance difference, so the tangible effect in my Lizard brain saysss yessss  In the end, to me a tangible effect isn't always about performance, sometimes it a sound or a look, or even a...... feeling  Ooga-Chaka Ooga-Ooga Ooga-Chaka Ooga-Ooga Ooga-Chaka Ooga-Ooga Ooga-Chaka Ooga-Ooga
    • yeah first and reverse is where you will find clutch release issues (whether hydraulic or mechanical) because the difference in revs required is the highest there; particularly changing down from 2nd to 1st when still moving. To be clearer though, it is possible that the clutch release bearing is the wrong height. This is less likely than a hydraulic issue but it is not unheard of when you are mixing and matching

    • Hi all, Restoring r33 series 1 rb25det. All the heater hoses were on their way out, have replaced them and put it all back together. After testing I noticed a small leak from behind the head on the actual metal water line to the turbo when cars warm. I tried running a longer hose over it but it kept leaking...   I am about to take the (stock) manifold off again😔 to change the water line does any one have any lines they recommend? I was looking at Aeroflow Turbo Oil & Water Line Set but not sure what everyone else recommends. Car is completely stock but want to upgrade turbo eventually. it looks like ill have to disconnect a lot just to replace these lines so if there's anything else recommended to do please let me know. Thank you in advance!
    • From memory, on the R33 GTSt at least, while everyone says "It's not adjustable", I found when I changed clutches in mine, it just needed a small adjustment on the rod length. But be very wary here, as you could end up trying to push the pushrod in the master too far, or blowing out the slave.   Most likely though, if the master/slave isn't bypassing internally or leaking out, then the throw out is the wrong height compared to the fingers on the clutch, so when it moves to disengage the clutch, it isn't 100% disengaged. You can check part of this out too by jacking the car up, having the engine running, put your foot on the clutch and try to engage 1st gear. If it goes in pretty easy (Compared to the ground) and/or the wheels start turning a fair bit and it takes a bit too much brake pedal to bring them back to a stop, this is likely the issue.  I'm not sure if you can adjust the height of the forks etc in these though, it's been that long since I've touched any RB gearbox.
