Welcome dude,

Getting to 200 isnt a huge ask, but will probably cost you a few bucks. Depends on whether you go second hand gear or new, either way keep your eyes open, ask around and be patient and you could save some decent dollars. A good place to start is with the forums, as they have the for sale section - also keep an eye on the popular mags as sometimes businesses will pump out some really good specials. Lastly, do a bit of research before spending your dollars and you'll be buying the right peice of kit at the right price.

For 200rwkw, a suggestion would be:

exhaust system

Pod Filter

Front Mount Intercooler

Electronic Boost controller or a bleed valve, and

Super Air Flow Converter (SAFC) or similar

Also don't look over your clutch and suspension, with extra power you will need to get it to the ground:)

This should get you close to 200 or maybe a bit over I think, what do the rest of you guys recon?

Steve

I would say those mods aren't quite enough to get to 200. Maybe 180-190. For 200 I'd say you need this.

FMIC

Full engine management (A SAFC isn't enough I reckon)

Full exhaust

14psi boost or so (preferably an EBC)

Boxed pod filter with CAI

I'm not so sure on the fuel pump. From what I've heard you should be ok at 200rwkw. Any more and you'll want one.

You could also go for an adjustable cam gear to fatten up your curve. I have a dyno graph from a supra with the gears and it made a huge difference.

Also, you have to remember all dynos are different.

Cheers,

Michael

The limit of the standard turbo is around 180rwkw. Some will make a little more power, some less...

If someone has proof that a stock turbo made 200rwkw+, all it means is that it was dyno'ed on a "happy dyno"...

    • Just yesterday the car started to shake a bit when idle. So tomorrow ima test the some wires and packs with the multimeter and see what it is. Hopefully is a pack because thats the easiest thing to buy same day here where I live in the USA.
    • shot myself in the leg and now last night I have shaking when I idle lol
    • I'm not a big fan of the Cometic gaskets either, as above the head and deck need to be like a mirror (can't remember the RA) so Kamieri sounds like a good idea.  FWIW a mate of mine hordes old motor stuff and has some blank unground Nizmo cams for one of these in his supply if random shit if you're interested.
