Great forum guys, Ive been reading up alot on the Japan section of these forums, especially in the past few months since Im finally off to Tokyo for a few days at the end of this week :D

Im hoping some of the Japanese locals will be able to help me out with the question that i have without re-iterating what alot of other people have already asked. I basically have 4 days in Tokyo and one of the things on my tight agenda is to purchase some car parts, namely a Power FC. Now Ive been buying japanese magazines recently to keep up on prices but alot of the times the magazines don't list the actual price for the Power FC and instead ask you to call up instead. Now this may be fine for a local but seeing as though Im in Sydney and I cannot speak Japanese, it is pretty much impossible for me to get an idea of what kind of prices these go for nowadays.

To cut a long story short, Im curious to know whether buying straight from Japan would be cheaper than buying online from Greenline or Nengun? Greenline's prices especially seem very good and are even cheaper to some of the prices Ive seen in some Jap magazines. Would any of you locals know how much they go for over there? To be more specific it will be for my S14a ie. ~96-99 model.

BTW, does anyone know how much cheaper Japan is than HK? As im also going there straight after. Or is HK actually cheaper (Im assuming japan should be cheaper) ?

Hey Drunkenmaster,

To speed things up, try having a look at this:

It's free and resizes them in batches.

LOL I have already installed cat doors into the laundry where their kitty litter is, and the sun room, apart from the cat doors there's not going to be any permanent mounted stuff on the interior walls (interior doors are cheap and easy to replace) I will get a outdoor cat cage thingie once I finish the landscaping out back... https://catnip.com.au/ The only off limit areas are the main bedroom and the gym room....but, currently the cats are curled up in bed, in the main bedroom with the Mrs.....LOL, the off limits for the kittens to the main bedroom lasted about 5 minutes with Jackie I currently only have 1 free standing huge cat tree multiple level scratching post thingie in the lounge room, but, I will be getting another one soon now that I'm happy with the furniture layout in the back room and have a perfect spot for it
    • All of this is making it seem clear that running the Coppermix twin was definitely the way to go, especially in hindsight with how insane tariffs have gotten and the strength of the USD vs yen at the time.
    • That sounds like no chance of even importing one for road registering then Now I see why Duncan wants to check LHD rules for Targa...   I wonder how "bolt in" the AWD would be if you got one imported from the US and swapped it to an AUD one
    • Not to mention they drive like a bucket of bolts! yuck!
