its too american and ricey for my liking. how could a car run a 10 if its loaded with stereo interior bodykit ect. i played a demo and the driving physics are pretty average. i think im gonna give this one a miss and continue with san andreas. id buy GT4 or juiced, though.

ooh, the racing part isnt that good...only highlight of the racing part is the use of nos..the motion blur effect...thats bout it

cruising in underground2 isnt as good as in san andreas.... pedestrian go squish now:D

wat i hate is driving from one location to another...that and the drift mode is a bit shitty this time round...sounds mad though...pshhcctttt all deh way...still hate the damn soundtrack though, wish they had custom soundtracks so that u can play to WAT U LIKE rather than just confining us to listen to wat they got

soon in hot4s i beleive there is going to be a black RS impreza which is superchardged, with 18" chromies n a fullt stereo i think he managed a time within the 10s barrier...my mate knows him, but we will see when the mag comes out (my mate is occaisonly full of shit ;))

respectiably decent. must be a big budget..

but in this game (anf F+F) there are civics and the like running ridiculous times. not too believable, so i don't like all that american rice crap. i have nfu1 and i always tried to make my cars look half decent... but its all this american ricer crap and not proper race stuff....yeah, those vynils of roses and action heros are pretty cool...if i did a vylin it was usually the signal stripe....and so on

yea i hate the SUVs too... I hate them in real life, and I hate them in this game. However, drifting down the mountains is tops...

My other gripe is there are no controlled drags, you always have to avoid stuff... I wish they had like a drag competition on a controlled strip so you could guage actual 1/4 mile times etc...

Apart from that it's heaps of fun... My RX8 is the shit :) hehehe

u can run 1/4 tiems without crashing into shyt, just go to dyno, and TEST ON TRACK then put it on drag, then they will time ur 0-60 and 1/4m and ur 600m time too i think

Ditto, great fun all the same. SUV's handle like shit though. In regards to the GTO, how far in the game do you have to be before you get that? C'Mon guys its a Monaro, thats cool. Also, with your comment bout the music, if you dont like it turn it off! ( Althoug I'm getting damn sick of that riders on the storm shit..)

    • They are under bucket shims. Tomei provides a test shim kit and then any measurement of shim required.
    • I always wondered how you were supposed to buy a set of 24 buckets and somehow magically have every single one of them yield exactly the desired clearance. I would have thought you'd need to assemble a cam with either 12 "sample" or "example" buckets of known top thickness (or a single such sample/example 12 times over!!) measure clearances at every valve, and then do the usual math to work out what the actual "shimness" of each bucket needed to be, before buying the required buckets to make up he thicknesses that you didn't have on hand.
    • I now seem to be limited in power due to my rev limit/hydraulic lifters in my built RB25. I'm looking into converting over to Tomei solid lifters. Question for anyone that has done the conversion. I was always under the impression that when using the Tomei solid lifter conversion, you would also require new valves (Longer or shorter stems, I can't remember which).  I don't know where I got this idea, as so far I see no mention of this in any of the Tomei documentation. It just states I need the Tomei solid buckets, solid lifter cams and upgraded springs. As my head is already built, all I would need is another set of 1000$ Kelford cams, 500$ buckets and about 4H hours of my time installing and I'm off to the races!?!? There's no way it's that simple, I must be missing something?
