The biggest engine for the pocket 2 stroke bikes seems to be the 50cc ones then you get the 4 stroke 74cc one which come with 4 speed gear box. Some of the choppers have a 107cc engine that can reach over 100 clicks.

Yeah thats what i thought, but its here in a flyer. i know the one i'm getting is air cooled and the 100clicks are water cooled. didn't know about the 4speed box though, i'll ask the guy if he can get them.

:D denham get one.. and somebody please photograph him flying off at 90km/hr as the bike disintigrates around him, and/or gives him a fatal electric shock :D

Ahh.. man they don't make cheap fad crap in china like they used to! :D

There are places that replace the bearings and all fasteners to aus standard parts so they dont disintrigate :D

They dont all come out of china now, some come from europe and uk but cost more obiviously which i am looking at getting.

This one looks preety sweet

Do you know much about these bikes?

As the new Terminator ones with the front headlights and tach/speedo have the new cvt tranny but weigh 40kg compared to the 20kg of the older model but have same 49cc engine but say they will still do 60km/h like the old model? Is this shit?

I should have this one by the end of tonight

With 13inch rims

Or this one with 15's

They are the biggest pocket bikes available at the moment but have cvt tranny so they are just as quick as the smaller ones but more stable and better built, as i dont see myself riding the ones with the 10inch wheel as my knees will scrape the ground.

Yeah, we got some in a container at work for fun... The little water-cooled one is definately a rocket, bloody noisy though - the clutch is set for 8500rpm, runs to around 13000rpm..... They definately achieve 90km/h though, even with 100kgs on it!

But yeah, I would make sure anything you get has had the bearings and fasteners changed for AU spec stuff. One bike shot a front bearing within 30 minutes. The rest are in various states of destruction though.

Personally I was going to get the mini trail bike, I'm 6'4", although I had a go on the little watercooled one I don't think I was very aerodynamic with knees around my ears!

my old subaru sherpa had a 499cc carby engine, which was farkin awesome, I didn't have to register the car to drive it on the roads... and it seated 2 people comfortably. Shame it couldn't make it up a 30 degree incline without difficulty with the same 2 people in the car.

If I still had it I'd have given you guys a drag in it.

I went to savedirect today... saw some of their goods. This guy was riding a yellow pocket bike and full speed up and down the street, looked mad. He told me the one he was riding costs $800, 49cc Air cooled, Key ignition, Max speed of 60kmph.

What do you guys thik of em?? Reliable?? or a total waste of money?

    • Yes, I know🙄 but the sequential is not in my budget... don't want to reduce power neither, so looks like I'm stuck in the rabbit hole🤣
    • You’ll be very upset when you bust that too not to mention the gearing totally sucks. Don’t do it.
    • Is the panel filter one that is oiled? Have you ever cleaned or touched the AFM?
    • So.... the K&N air box thingo was too big, ended up gifting it to a mate, well, by gifting it he actually supplied food and beer at the pub,  which was nice, as it will not sit on a shelf in the garage for the next 10 years I did trim up some of the existing stuff to neaten it all up and gave it some wrinkle paint, unfortunately it currently has a used and abused mish mash of different types of hose clamps, 4 big fat T bolt type (shit), and a few normal clamps of vairing sizes and brands, but..... only until the 6 constant tension black worm clamps that I ordered from EFI solutions turn up next week Currently the current hose clamps are triggering me hard, LOL Is this the final version, probably not, I really want just 2 silicone pieces, a straight bit of silicone from the filter to the MAF is easy and will happen as soon as I head into Just Jap tomorrow, the problematic part is a 30° silicone bend from the MAF to the TB that I can connect the engine breather from the head, I found that there are bulk head fittings for boat bilge pumps that should work, but until I can get a 30° silicone bend the alloy pipe, and the 11ty thousand hose clamps, are there for the foreseeable future 4 hose clamps are golden, 6 are grudgingly acceptable, the 8 currently holding it all together is just taking the piss    I've also ordered 60 more retaining wall blocks for the front yard, I mis-gonculated the height that was required to get above the base of the Photinia's (red robin's) that are the hedge behind the front fence, currently it is 2 blocks high, and about 1/2 a block short, so going 3 blocks high will be above the base of the red robin's, and allow some room for mulch
