Hey Guy's, I am posting this motor for my computer illiterate friend so I may take a day or so to post any replys/answers unless you phone me on :07 40581928 AH.

Anyway motor has all the parts and is in good nic, it is in Cairns, QLD. 4870, he can arrange delivery of motor on a crate to your selected freight company.

Oh I don't have any pics of it yet as am finding it hard to get my hands on a digital camera, but it looks clean all the same.

Cheers,

Shay.D

Does it run? who removed it from the car and why?

Of course it runs although it's not currently in a car running now?

My mate has been getting a couple of little trucks from Japan personal use, and thought he'd put a couple of motors in the back of them to get the most out of the container. It was from a half cut in Japan.

come with turbo? all manifolds injectors coil packs etc etc.

what about things like r33 ac pump, ps pump,

i take it it comes with flywheel and clutch?

im keen but would have to send it down to melb...

I am interested in the engine if you can seperate from the gear box.

And has the engine been compression tested?

please PM me

Slide and Nexus U guy's should get together and chat, why don't u go halves in the freight. Work out between yourselves how much each is going to put in to get it to $3050 + Freight (get some prices from wreckers or importers to work out the Engine V's gearbox cost ratio). What u don't use from the rest of engine sell ....

MR R32 How do u test an engine out of a car? Very difficult - at the risk of frying the ECUm, no thanks. The current owner drove the car to the wreckers to get it chopped in Japan so he knows the engine was ok. BTW it's from a 94Model, price is not negotable.

    • Why are you so adamant on going M12? Why not follow Brad (GTSBoy) suggestion. You're talking moving from a 1/8" size, to a 1/2" effectively. 4 times bigger. Why skip the commonly available sizes in between? The bigger you go, the more likely you are to strip the threads out at a later date, as guaranteed, someone will put a huge spanner on the M12 and really tighten it up, and you're only in thin wall, so not a lot of threads to engage!
    • Hi. Yeah thanks. Car is already at tuners and it staying there to resolve "many" issues they do not like. So it is in a good hands. Getting a good tune on that Nistune ECU too so the car would be good. Just needs a little tune up and love.
    • Probably gonna remove manifold and turbo. I’m not sure if I can get M12 x 1.5 air tight. Could use high temp Loctite 246 or something similar, but I don’t know. Maybe it’s just best to remove everything again and weld an 1/8NPT on there instead.
    • Yeah, saw the ratios, not impressed. Would like the punch I have in the first gears now. With those ratios it won't be the same.  Also want the h pattern gearing, or at least a quiet gear set that don't need to come apart for service each year. Looks like the only "reasonable" way Is a 8hp70 transmission, but where is the fun in that🤷‍♂️
