Dave, you are asking people who the majority have never ever even seen a M35.

Yes they came in turbo right from the very start VQ25DET, Justin made the same mistake as well. Only thing is they are all Auto.

But I wouldn't care...with 280ps/41.5kgm...they are the shitz! More then enough power for your family duties and for a bit of fun.

Actually looking at it, it uses the 5MA-Tx...which I'd assume would be very similar to the one in the 350Z.

So a few more assumptions would be...you could swap this engine into a 350Z and have a better base for some serious power.....hmmmm sounds good to me!

Told yah need to get out to the big smoke more often :)

Dave, search for VQ25DET Stagea...also Series 2 now offers a VQ35DE powered model.

mmmhhh dunno...maybe I've been here too long and I see these cars everyday.

I like the M35 much much more than a C34, obviously being newer and better equipt makes the C34 very dated, no offence guys. The M35 suits me to the ground, yeah old man talking here...if I hadn't focused so much on the Evo I should have send her home ages ago and now be driving a M35 to the snowfield :).

M35 Series 2 is already out and scheduled body revision is expected end of next year or early 2006.

    • I know people cry at the price of the Getrag 12-14k for a conversion now, but it really is a nice mid point. Not going to get change from 10k on a gearset installed.  $30k++ for sequential.   I know you run the risk of a damaged used one and parts are hard to get but as a street car gearbox its really hard to beat. If you enjoy a more traditional manual, its the choice no question.
