Hey,

I am tossing up weather to, in the next couple of months, sell the skyline and upgrade to a twin turbo skyline, or do a couple of things to my skyline.

It's an R32 - 1993 model, what I was thinking was painting it yellow?? Any one got any pictures of a yellow R32?

Was also thinking maybe a cooler and some new wheels..

Would dark wheels look good on yellow, or maybe white??

Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Thanks

Scott

mmmmm yellow....yuummmmy :( :( :P

as for your decision, well I think everyone will say to get the GTR cos it's what we'd all kill to own!! If you've got the money, then go for it! But it sounds to me like you're more keen on doing some stuff to your R32 :P i guess only you can decide which way to go.

oh, here's pic of one of those club spec rexes u guys are talking about:

Thanks for the suggestions and photo's... I'm still not to sure what I am going to do..

If I change the colour then i should probably get some new wheels, and a nice big cooler to finish the front, but it's all $$$..

Or I could just get my loan through the business and get the car I really want...

As for the club spec evo's..my brother sold his yellow one a couple of months ago...here's a pic..

hey nvs

if you can get hold of an R32 GT-R then thats definately appealing, but check out what its going to cost to insure first because it may be scary. for example: for me to insure a $10,000 R1 motorbike, the cheapest i can get it is $3900 per year.

gotta say go the R over some yellow paint, wheels and a cooler, because an R is going to be a much bigger step up.

good luck with it mate.

    • Welcome. Dont let anyone dissuade you from your dreams. If you want a gtr, keep sabing and you will eventually get one. I feel like if I had have bought stocks, those companies would have gone bust and I would have lost my money.  There's a gamble in everything we buy. I've had good times and bad. But... I've also met my absolute best friend through this network and can't imagine life without them(more like a brother). Keep in mind, some specific mods will change as technology gets better. If you feel like general chat, there's always the wasteland.....

    • Saw this abandoned Honda Fit in a carpark that was getting repaved... they just 'cut around it' and continued with the job! There's a number of reasons why the car could have been abandoned, but as for the construction company, legally they don't have permission to move the car from the owner (who has moved on and can't be contacted) so all they can do it just leave it there with enough space around it so it won't get damaged.

    • Sorry for resurrecting an oldish thread Not much has happened in the past year since the last update. The car did another 1000 miles or so and failed the MOT for the first time in October (failed on tyres which had been advised for a couple of years) In October the car got put up for sale and was removed in November due to no interest, being so close to christmas it was to be expected. The roads were dry in February so I decided to tax it early and get the new tyres fitted.   Fast forward to April, I got someone in to give the car a good clean after sitting for the winter.                                 The car got re-advertised and today (Saturday 3rd May) the car sold. The new owner is planning a GTR conversion at some point and a respray in the same pearl white. It's bitter sweet, it's a shame to have the car sit there for half the year and then only do 1000 miles. The kids are growing too quick and space in the back is getting limited. It's been a great 6.5 years of ownership
