New Speakers for R34 GTT

Hey ppls.

I'm looking to install some speakers in my R34 GTT soonish, and I have been looking at the Alpine Type R

I'm running an Alpine 9798 or something, about 2 years old with 3 preout and al the crap. Was the top of the line back then.

Anyway, I want to run front splits and rear co-axials.

The price on the Alpine speakers is about right, but is there anything else I should be looking at around that price range which is comparable or better.

I'm not going to be running a sub but may install a 4 channel amp later down the track (or with the speakers).

So, what do you think?

I know.

I used to have a couple of tens, then a couple of twelves but now, I'm after not so much bass.

I do however have MONSTER bass planned for my house!!!
