lmao no danny... not like heat.

its a rave.

On the contrary dude; It is now more like Heat than ever before.

Its aquired the rank of "McRave"

There will be more latte' dudes in pink, upcollar polo shirts than Summerdaze or Chapel St put together.

The trendy hair dos will be the "Millenium Mullet" and Robbie Williams mohawk

So many people that movement will be difficult. Undercover cops and sniffer dogs so thick that ppl will step in dog crap.

And the chance of having a waxed, roid pumping, coke sniffing sweat monster bumping into me don't make me wanna buy a ticket at all.

However this is all just the voicing of my opinion.

If ya do go, rock on and have a wikkid time.

Alternatively there are other more intimate, focussed parties on this month for those, who like me, have an aversion to the crowds.

Go sick whatever you do!!!!!!!!!!!!

:rave:

Dude, loosing ya fave venues bites but theres heaps of stuff to be at and always has been.

I'm by no means accusing you of doing so but you've remined me how much I hate the current electronic musice sectarianism.

How often have you heard ppl saying the Rave/Club/Hard Dance/Trance scene is crap now and was better "Back in the Day" ? I HATE THAT PHRASE. The scene, like the music and every aspect of life, is destined to evolve.

If ya not happy with it now, thats your own problem. It will never be the same again. Learn to evolve your taste with it of find something else.

Its tantamount to stating that the R34 is a crap skyline and that the marque was the best "back in the day" of the R32.

Thats better now thats all off my chest.

lol

well to tell u the truth i much prefer to go to mates houses... setup decks and get them to DJ... by no means mean "its better back in the day" i just cant be arsed with going out to clubs any more.

i guess ive evolved (or is it called growing up?) to the point i dont need to go out and get smashed to listen my favourite music any more, i do it within the confines of a safe environment with close friends. Its nicer when you dont have to worry abuot getting home too and just crash right there :(

ps. the 34 and the 32 ARE the marque of the skylines

Whether it be a McRave or the rave of the year, I'll be there. Got my ticket and I'm ready to rock!!

Like Wardest said though, it's entirely up to you and what you make of it. I had a ball last year and I intend on doing the same this year!!

As long as you avoid the anabolic bulldog looking characters who resemble T-rexes and other unsavoury people, you'll be fine. Stick with yr mates and it will be fun.

SummerDayze was fun even though there was a solid case of testosterone out there but I just stuck to my crew and all was well.

There are heaps of smaller events going on which are just as much fun if not more than TT but once again, each to their own. I like everything, it's the funding and time which is the problem for me.

yeah its great chilling at home/ mates place n getting on it there, but me relitivly new to the whole going out scene its good to meet new people,

and everyone has a right to their own opinions but please dont force your beliefs to the rest of us... because everyone has different tastes of music dont be a hater n respect that everyone's tastes are different! ive got a m8 who is a flat out metal head n i listen to his music, but im in belief of respect all music and u'll have more fun when your out!

    • Hi, i’m making Vag coil loom for rb25det, can anyone confirm the wire guage i’m using for power supply in diagram is enough for supply not too small for loom? For earth do i need to follow the same procedure or i can use only 16awg wire for all coil and their connecting wire following to the plug?
    • Did you panel beat the dents or have you tried to repair this only using filler?  Is your sanding block soft/flexible and is following the shape of the panel rather then just knocking down the high points?
    • I haven't knocked them down yet. I think I made the repair more complex than it should have been. I had rock chips combined with waviness and dents and I tackled it all in one because it was near each other and just end up wasting a bunch of bog lol. I'll knock down those areas and see how I go. And yep what you are saying at the end is correct. I think I might be sanding the top of a steep hill then my sanding block falls into the dent and gets rid of the guidecoat if that makes sense. Though shouldnt unless I'm covering too big of an area with not a long enough block. I'll try something new and provide some updates. Getting there though! Thanks as always.
    • Yeah makes sense, hard to comment on your situation without seeing what your doing. I was talking generally before, I would not be looking to randomly create low spots with a hammer to then have to fill them.  It's hard without seeing what your doing, it sounds like you are using the guide coat to identify low spots, as you're saying the panel is still wavy. I don't see how you're not ending up with patches of guide coat remaining in a wavy panel? Once the high spots are knocked down to the correct level, surely to have a wavy panel you need low spots. And those low spots would have guide coat still in them?
    • So I'll put filler past the repair area a bit to make sure I don't miss anything. Then I'll block it until it's almost level, put the guidecoat, then keep blocking until it's gone. Then it's still wavy.  In regards to hitting the panel, I saw this video might give more context - Skip to 0:47 he knocks it down. But yeah I'm sanding until the guidecoat is gone then checking because otherwise my filler is still well above the bodyline. Unless what you're saying is I should put guidecoat around it early, surrounding the filler then stip once it's gone?
