being farely new to the skyline scene, or perfomance in general, im in need of some advice.

Im planning on doing an upgrade to r33 t. So far im looking at;

- Nismo Fuel Pump

- Sard Fuel Regulator Type-R

- Sard Fuel Injectors 550cc

this stuff im pretty sure i want and am going to get. the problem is the engine management.

I dont know squat about it, and im happy to admit that. Everyone seems to have an Apexi PowerFC. But now i read the thread at the top of this page and see the Greddy E-management.

My questions are these;

* Am i missing anything for this upgrade (fuel wise)

* and which is a better computer for my needs, either out of the two mentioned or if there is something better i've overlooked completely.

If anyone can shed some light on my situation it would be greatly appreciated.

if you dont have a turbo dont bother with injectors or a reg. you dont need them

As for a Nismo pump... a Bosch unit can do the same job at a cheaper price im sure

buy all parts at once (includin turbo) and do the mods at one time, saves retune after retune costs.

At the moment ive got 3" turbo back, HKS Pod and Intercooler. Standard Turbo.

Im looking at nengun for the parts mentioned. anywhere else to look? nengun dont have bosch.

If i do get a bigger turbo, the injectors and reg. will be needed though, right?

austalia has bosch mate.

thats local stuff.

Yeah, injectors'reg will be needed. But as i said.

No point doing them till needed as its only added retune costs.

stay away from 550sard's. get the 700cc nismo ($50-$80 extra from memory) they are a strainght fit and cause less problems cause of it

My suggestions. as always, is to first work out what it is that you want to do with the car, then how much power you need to achieve that result, then get an appreciation as to how much that is going to cost.

An example, if 200 rwkw will achieve what you want, then you don't need any of the stuff you have listed, and $3K should get you there. If its 400 rwkw then $10K won't be enough.

So what is it that you want to achieve?

:)

PS; an EManage is a piggy back solution, it is NOT comparable with a Power FC which is a full computer. The Power FC will always be superior in a manual application. For autos, an SAFC is a lot cheaper than an Emanage for similar results.

    • Hi from Canada, Both of my calipers are starting to fail. My car is a 2005 M35 Stagea ARX and I can't seem to find any parts or any cross reference caliper that would fit my car. Is there a company or a similar caliper that would fit and I could replace the OEM one. Or if anyone knows where I can find a new OEM. Any help is very appreciated. Let me know!
    • Maf is a question mark but TPS  I have set at 0.47, the fact that I’m getting proper voltage range out of it with the key on leads me to believe it’s functioning properly. I’m getting proper voltages on basically everything. I still need to look up voltage ranges for z32 maf and test that
    • Honestly no not at all, but it’s a very basic tune, it’s stock injectors q45 tps and z32 maf. Other than that it’s a completely stock base map. The file is from nistune and from my understanding if it was tune related I would be able to unplug maf and tps and it would still start even if it was a really shitty start. I have tried starting it with coolant temp, maf, and tps unplugged none of those 3 togethor or individually changes anything

    • What does it look like with highway driving? And yes, I had a similar thought as Duncan. It looks quite similar in my Stagea and I have made myself accept it as normal. Might have to look into it some day   Highway gets as low as 10l/100km on my end so I'm not as worried about it being a mechanical issue. More likely just the tune on the haltech.
