What causes boost to spike when using a bleed valve? Is there anyway to prevent/minimise this? Under what conditions is boost more likely to spike?

Ive been told to minimalise the hosing i use from the wastegate actuator to the bleed valve and then to the throttle body (i think thats how its setup) is this a good start?

thanks

adam
