Where is your avc-r head unit mounted???

I've installed my avcr and now i want a good place to put the head unit.

At the moment i have it stuckon my dash under my boost gauge/turbo timer and tempreture gauge. What i've been thinking is to make up a custom pod to go above the centre air vents up on top of the dash. Coated with black vinyl for a sort of stealth install.

So i was wondering where has everyone else mounted theirs????

Aren't the SAFC's smaller in size???

Also has anyone done a custom mould into the dash to make it look sorta like factory???

mounted mine there but its moving to the glovebox where no1 can see it. sick of getting canaried for it

ive got both of mine under the cd player and the rsm up under the dash

ive got mine under the cd player an the rsm next to the steering wheel, but soon i will be moving the avc-r an s-afc to the glove box

i'v mounted mine over where the ashtray is located.with dubble sided tape.

Bit hard to see but mine is mounted on the dash obove the air vents, looks pretty nice, just make sure you have good quality double sided tape otherwise the heat will make it fall off. And just use the apex mounting braket, that will work fine.

I've started building my little console for on top of the dash, also to house a air/fuel ration guage.

I also mounted a black push button overboost switch to the centre console, next to the parking aerial switch...looks factory.

This is my last R33 i sold not that long ago, i did all the interior up myself, ended up turning out pretty nice......

I mounted the timer in the ash tray wrapped in lether. sweeet
