Hey guys..

I have a quick question for you. Just got my GTR a couple of months ago and i'm trying to sort out a problem with idle - when you drive the car and take your foot off the accelerator, clutch in, revs drop to 0.

I have fixed a few problems already: New o2 sensors, broken wire from rear AFM, lubricated all throttle linkages (these were sticking! scary!)

One thing that I have noticed is that when the throttle is completely closed there is a ~1mm gap between the throttle stopper screw and the throttle mechanism. This means the throttle butterflies are closed 100% when not accelerating.

Is this correct for an RB26, i know the AAC valve bleeds air past the throttle bodies to regulate idle speed, but is a small throttle opening still required?

Can anyone help..

Thanks,

-Patrick
