These plates appear to be "Retro" plates which are not able to be sold unless you pay the difference to convert them to "personalised plates".

If you just bought these plates as "Retro" for $250 then you can't sell them as they are.

Unless of course they are prestige plates which would be very silly but may explain your asking price.

I have seen prestige plates that could have been made the same with normal personalised plates. way to burn money
