R33 rear seat in a R32 - is it possible??

I have installed 33 front seats in my 32 and was looking to get a rear seat to match.

Just wondering whether a R33gtst seat will fit into a r32gtst?

From a post on removing the r33 rear seat, it seems that they are quite similar, but the 33 seat has 2 brackets at the front of the bottom section that are bolted to the floor. Apart from that they look similar.

Is the width the same??

Has any one tried putting a 33 rear seat in a 32?

I'd be HIGHLY doubtful, but the interior dimensions aren't too different (R33 = 1820x1415x1090, R32 = 1805x1400x1090, LxWxH), but the mounting points and just getting it to "sit" properly woud still be troublesome I think.

Do you still have the standard 32 Gtr seats.....if so are you willing to sell them and what condition are they in.

well they both use the "hook" arrangement, which means it can mount at any point across.. . so its quite possible. I think that its probable that the wheel arch is going to be the difference.

Traphead.. looks like you might just have to get a mate with an R33 and try it.
