Safc - S1????????????????

Hi All

Im on a tight budget and able to get a safc s1 (the non blue screen display version) very cheap....are they any good, or just a waste of time and money...i have done the usual mods,...exhaust, fmic,pod...etc

They are relatively easy to fit.

Just take you time when doing it and always reference the manual if in doubt.

Ive installed one in my car and a safc 2 in a mates r32.

A bit off soldering here and there. And you'll be fine.

If you can stretch your budget a bit you can get a Digital Fuel Adjuster and hand controller kits from Jaycar for about $120. Works in the same way as blue screen SAFCs.

Just have to build it yourself, not that hard.

thanks champ...i put one on order through work but electus have been slack...its been 3 weeks and im still waiting for it to arrive...so stuff them ill just get my mates

are you tzlking about the one with 1 or 5 knobs?

the 1 knob version is a waste of money

The on I'm using has five adjustment points for different revs. The lights change as the engine revs change too. It's way cool at night!

the 1 know version only allows you to adjust the fuel once throught the whole rev range which is useless

the 5 knob one lets u adjust the fuel 5 times at different rev ranges. dont even bother with the 1 knob one
