xRHETTx
Ive got one on my r32 now, works great i guess. Mr_G is correct, its like a normal immobiliser, you get a certain amount of time before it activates. You can even manually turn it off (into valet mode) if your worried about it. Just remember to turn it back on. Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/75565-keypad-start-security-stalling-question/#findComment-1386990 Share on other sites
silver gts-t
can you install this seperately? as in if you already have an alarm, can you add this feature? xRHETTx
Nah the alarm place did it at the same time as they put the other alarm in. The jaycar kit comes with instructions though, maybe go in and have a look at them? Restless 33
can someone link the exact product from jaycar. also wouldn't this interfere with a remote start but turbo timers should be ok? siksII
if it integrates with the standard alarm i wouldnt put one in if i were you.. just makes it easier to find the alarm and disable it, with wires from the nice obivous keypad to follow. siksII
if u actually hid it somewhere good, it would be difficult to access it to type in the code so no point Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/75565-keypad-start-security-stalling-question/#findComment-1390605 Share on other sites
