bored
I put my vote in for the Sunshine Coast... even though i'm not over 20 just yet... definitly not fulsik though I'd be suprised if anyone 'fulsik' would turn up to a long cruise...at least they probably wouldn't come again once they got the cold shoulder from the first one Is a CB something everyone needs?.. Ska
Ska, Thanks for that advice. I will sort out some dates and start getting things organised. Looks like we have to get a hand held radio. Seems like it would be the easiest way to keep track if there is a few of us.Tell me! How old are you really???? lol I hope that you can make the cruise when it happens. 28 enaged with 2 kids, 7 and 4. So I am very interested in people wanting to go on day trips someplace sedate where we can let the kids go have a play and sit and have a snag or two and talk 'lines Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/77817-30-to-40yr-olds-cruises/page/2/#findComment-1427084 Share on other sites
JAS_R33
That's good. Bring the kids along. Its what its all about. Looks like we will be going to Bribie. That's where the most interest is. I will have to work out a day and try and get it organised. Tell me where everyone lives. Northside? Southside? We will need meeting points and times?? A Sunday will be the better day. Do we need to wait for the weather to warm up?? it has been on the cool side these past few days. We want to enjoy it not freeze our butts off. Anyone can come along. And about a CB radio. We haven't got one. Whether we get one or not is something we will have to see later on. When I say Cruise I mean not race to where we're going. So we should be able to stick together. Everyone that would like to go personal message me with where we can meet. I am on the Southside Victoria Point. Whether to meet at the Tavern carpark on the morning. Then we could have have meeting places on the way up where it suits everyone else. EVERYONE Suggest what ever to help out. Ska
Having a radio is good to hear navigation calls and warnings, and general chit chat. Meet point suggestions: Yatala Pies Gateway Truck Stop Nundah Shell (on the gateway) Caboolture BP If someone cant make it to one of those spots then they could just meet you at the destination. Sundays are bad for me, but do not let that stop you for organising it. I would probably start a new thread though, but that's just a suggestion too. GTRman1992
My kids loved the last cruise I came on. My boy (4) played cruise day with his match box cars for months. JAS_R33
Don't worry won't be long working out a date. They are changing my roster and have to wait to see what they are doing to it. Around 3 weeks from now we are working on. By then hoping the rain will be gone...... hungry6
I like the idea of going to bribie or somewhere away from the south coast, as a relaxing drive for everyone here would be a challenging one for me, I have no driving skilz.
