Idle Problems

Hello All

I have a problem with my idle. While im at the lights the idle rises and falls about 400rpm, it sometimes stops but its good damn annoying andyone know whats wrong with it? i got told that it may be the air flow meter?

any help?

Check for leaks from intake hoses. A leak coming from an hole in the intercooler pipe in a r32 casued irratic idling in . Also make sure all clamps are re-tightened

Hey

The car is a R33 GTS25T, the problem was ntoiced when it had a stock BOV and cooler. Now i have added a GFB BOV and a Hydrid front mount and the problem still exists, will try and find a air leak somewhere, cheers

Do a search, there's heaps of information around about 33 GTS-T idle problems.

Most common at the ACC value needs cleaning, throttle body needs cleaning, check AFM, check TPS.
