Hey all, I ran my GTR at Hyperdrive the week before the SAUWA day so you wouldn't have seen me there....stats and mods in signature. Just wondering what I should do now to it for a bit more HP sauce? :P

it doesnt have a boost controller (currently setup to 11psi) or a PowerFC so they came to mind first, what else would be something I could do?

I won't be able to perform this yet, coz funds are-a-low and I have a trip to Bali organised for July. Just want to get a few ideas in and some general costs for product+labour to install....

cheers

Tom

:uh-huh:

I know the T3's cost the previous owner $1500 for the pair....and it has an aftermarket dump pipe too, I am not sure whether it is 3" or 2.25" off the turbo's but its 3" from the CAT back

ok, stupid question, what does that 1.2k refer too?

Nope, on special here at $1600 supplied, fitted, tuned with handcontroller and Aus warranty.

Cheers

Err , the one that fits your car. Just the base model, not the D Jetro.

These are brand new.

the review on the Apexi that I found states that its a direct change of the standard computer and plugs straight in to the wiring loom

I like the price at $880 too, I searched and found that the retail cost is closer to $1500 for that model

The Power FC's are model specific so yes, we will get the one that fits straight into your car and is a replacement for the std puter.

The $880 2nd hand price will require tuning which is usually $350-$450 extra.

Our price is for a new unit and includes the tuning..

  • 2 weeks later...

just thinking, ontop of a tuned PFC...what engine internals will be stressed?

I think Ive been told it will be the CAMS that are good to upgrade also, is that right?!. I probably won't get them done at the same time (unless its good to, then I will save a bit longer)

along with $800+ for new tyres, this car is gunna cost me a london-underground bomb....oh, below the belt, below the belt! ;)
