Just came back last night. Need more sleep.

I stayed at my GF fathers house in Logan Village.

Beautiful Semi Rural area. Shopped at Beenleigh. Nice shopping centre.

I would just like to say you brisbane people have it good.

The suburbs there are so nice. People are friendly in general. Yep even the bogans. The suburbs shopping centre is nice and dead and I thought it was because of the holidays but the relos said its always like that.

You go to the take away shop and you can get fish and chips but not just any fish and chips.... you can choose your choice of fish!

Thats great. In NSW you cant get decent fish.

It makes me appreciate QLD heaps. I love it. And just shows how over populated Sydney really is and how much attitude Sydney has.

If Brisbane had good Jobs going there I would move up in a heart beat! :D

Ahhh DR GTR you flatter us :D

Yes I agree QLD is a great place, the further north you travel the nicer it is.

Glad to hear you had a great time and enjoyed your stay.

With regards to bogans, as long as you don't start heading out Ipswich way you're normally pretty safe.

Cheers,

Tim

I am surprised that NSW hasnt got some of the things that you mentioned in your post.

Beenleigh (thong city) is probly not one of the best places to visit if u want to see QLD , you will have to goto the coast on a saturday night if u really want to see what its really like

Do you think you will be coming back to QLD again sometime if so I live near there give me a buzz and Ill be happy to take u for a cruise :D

Yeah I saw skylines here and there but no one waved LOL.

I also drove to redcliffe and that place is soooo nice.

Yeah I was told to stay away from ipswich and Towoomba?

I love redcliffe too. Logan Area and Beenleigh is truly nice for a suburb.

I miss it already. I have it on Video. Logan village is truly a stunning place. You brisbane people do have it very lucky.

Its so laid back and people are just easy going.

hahah I was watching the news and did you hear about the guy who tried to rob a goldcoast jewerelly place and when the police caught him he died? The thought of going to jail killed him haha.

Getting back to brisbane I was there for only a week to see my GF's Father and he is part of some bikie group.

Around logan village there is that long road it starts at the corner of the BP petrol station on Logan river road. Forgot that name of the road but it takes you into logan Village. I love that drive. nice and twisty and I saw a few skylines up and down there too!

I will be definately going back at the end of this year for sure.

Will definately hook up with you guys and thanks for offer!

Nismo Girl what car does JapTaxi drive? Where did he see me?

I would of said hi. I had a feeling one of the Skyline car I saw would of been a SAU fellow member.

Good on you Brisbane people for living in such a nice area. I envy you guys. I went shopping here in my suburb today in Sydney and it seems so over populated. :D

Some skyline drivers from Brisbane are pretty rude. Most of them aren't on the internet.. I gather anyway. We wave to other skyline drivers that we don't know and they just be wankers and waste heaps of petrol trying to prove something... Toowoomba isn't all that bad.. Just a long drive away. Woodridge/Marsden/Beenleigh/Kingston/Inala are the places you have to watch out for.

:D My pos 32 is on the road just that it has gone slower so theres not much point driving it during the day :(

I wonder how did nismogirl guessed I was in my vw golf... after all it is a day car for boring day grind. I had a cop car followed me half way up the tamborine mountain too, so much fun driving at 5kmh under speed limit to impress them. :)

Minh I dont think I would be able to catch up to you as you were going the opposite way (you were heading towards logan village direction and I was heading towards tamborine), not to mention a 90hp golf catching up to a GTR? :bahaha:

I wish I was still at logan Village right now.

Sitting here in Sydney a this pc makes me depressed.:D

Since the car scene is small in brisbane do you guys meet up often?

When I was shopping at Logan Village the girls from the supermarket couldnt get enough of my car and couldnt stop drooling hehehe.

The car scene isn't small in Brisbane at all.... Well I suppose it depends on what you are comparing it to.

Saturday night there are always about 500+ cars that meet up at the Broadwater Carpark to chat and do what ever.

When you come up next time we will have to show you what the Brisbane car scene is like and take you down to the BWCP and who you want the Brisbane Hoons are all about :D

Yeah I was told down at southPort and Goldcoast it rocks!

But brisbane itself is quite peaceful.

The only run I had was with a torana and he was no fun. Couldnt keep up at the higher speeds.

Saw quite a few Imports around logan Village. Also there is an import dealer on the corner of logan river road and the main road that goes into logan village.

Pretty cool coincidence to have seen you on the road too!

You legend! I certainly saw you. We were on a slight slope. You going up the road and I going down.

Your car is sexy as hell. Too bad you were the only R34 Gtt i saw on my whole trip.

Yeah tell me about it. QLD and Brisbane rocks. I love it. Makes Sydney seem so second rated.

    • I was using the wiring diagram I have So 12.74V is coming into the rear Fuel Pump relay as I measured.  When I turn the key to ON im getting 0.6V to the Fuel Pump plug; which i assume is backfeed voltage and doesnt include the 12V from ignition power.  The rear relay is working and being triggered.  From the diagram I clearly see the rear relay 80 = Rear Relay going into the Body/H loom (R-27) 27 = Fuel Pump plug going into the Body/H loom (T-20) 40 = Short Connector (R-27) I'm reading 12.74V on the blue/black wire which is the power for the Fuel Pump   From this diagram I can see the Ignition relay goes into the front and up to the ignition  2 = Fuel Pump Relay <1M> (R-27) 37 = ING Relay <1M> I started from the pump using this reference Which the way I read it (referencing Nissan wiring color codes) is: Pin Wire Color Function 1 B/P (Black/Pink) Ground 2 L/W (Blue/White)        ECU Trigger 3 SB (Sky Blue) Fuel Pump 5 L/B (Blue/Black) 12V Constant Tested SB to SB on Fuel Pump for continuity - confirmed Tested negative on Fuel Pump to 12V battery and L/B - confirmed 12V Pulled the relay putting 12V between Pin 1 & 2 and testing continuity on Pin 3 & 4 - confirmed relay   So that has me looking at this part of the circuit to understand whats happening here...and im still confused. From best I can tell; the disconnect is back to my previous diagram; between Ignition Relay and Fuel Pump Relay...which yet again; afaik is where the immobiliser should.    Thats what I was trying to explain to GTSboy; im not trying to fix it myself; yet I seem to have to get a Masters in Electrical Engineering (while im busy doing my actual job of DevOps & Cloud Engineering) somehow.  I just wanted more expert opinions; or more so that what I tested is correct and proves it to something around that area; to go back to the alarm tech (for a 3rd time) that he needs to fix it. He keeps telling me its not the alarm. He lives on the complete other side of the city so i understand not wanting to make a trip but as I said before if its the alarm it should be up to him to fix it. But he's adament its not; even though I pointed out the FP was immobilised through the original alarm. To my mind; it seems that the ECU is sending the signal; but the ignition is not getting 12V down the line.
    • Maybe also really stiffly sprung track cars. Get the inside wheel up in a corner and all the fun stops. Also me sometimes (rarely) when I have to stand on the brake to convince the diff to drive the wheel that is still on the ground when I'm trying to diagonally get over severe driveway entrance, etc.
    • I feel like I'm missing something. You had an authorised installer come out and install a new alarm. Post install the car doesn't start, and you aren't getting the installer back to fix what they did wrong?
    • So either way it is gearbox out and look what is wrong?  I know about the input shaft bearing. Even before swap/new clutch the it sounded exactly like this: So is that inout shaft bearing or the other was installed backwards?  And can some please tell me the part number for that input shaft bearing? The gearbox is small box from R34 N/A and number is FS5W71C. Thank you
    • I am yet to see anyone ever regret a quaife or helical. ...other than drifting/skidpan duties. I kind of want to upgrade my factory helical with a Quaife (but really it's not ultimately that different, and is a MASSIVE UNDERTAKING), that's how good the hype is about them, that I want to try them 'just to see'
