As I posted this some weeks ago...

http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/in...showtopic=89065

The mod had replied stating that the mods of each state would need to put setup that new sub-forum section themselves.

So, being a Queenslander, therfore participating in the Queensland section, I thought I create this thread to see if the QLD Mods would be able to see if they are interested in taking on this idea to show the other states that it would work.

It's on a suggestion but I think it would actually work better as a sub-forum catagory then a blog type section.

I think we need a super secret section where we can organize cruises and stuff. And then we can incessantly bicker about who is/isn't allowed into that super secret section.

Uh, no. I don't even bother reading the events section anymore. Extra section=1 extra click, that in all honesty I can't be bothered making. Regardless of how awesome you think it's going to be.

I agree with mud. Set it up in your blog and link to it from a large ugly flashing link in you sig. of course that would mean that you'd have to actually post.

if you could also give me some money for mods that would be cool also.

Sorry as a QLD Mod I'd go with the BLOG idea.  If you're worried you won't get enough exposure simply link to your blog in your signature.

Its not so much about expose but more along the lines of keeping it to a forum theme layout.

Either way... this was just a suggestion to forward for further thinking. That was all.

You'll find the majority of members here will try to keep public knowledge of their mods to a minimum in our current socio-political climate. I see no problem with you starting a general thread for the group to use as a "Tell us your updates" thread.

    • I know people cry at the price of the Getrag 12-14k for a conversion now, but it really is a nice mid point. Not going to get change from 10k on a gearset installed.  $30k++ for sequential.   I know you run the risk of a damaged used one and parts are hard to get but as a street car gearbox its really hard to beat. If you enjoy a more traditional manual, its the choice no question.
