hi was just wondering which is rated for more hp either the hks 3240 or the t78

If you are actually thinking about putting these on your car then go the 3240, the T78 will be way too laggy. We have put the T78 onto a 4litre V8, but due to the extra capcaity the turbo isn't as laggy. And remember, the only way to utilise all of the power available from these trubo's is through the use of cams.

I know someone with a T78 on a 33 GTST and hmm...doesn't hit boost until nearly 6,000 and that's with mild CAMS and a powerfc...

go the 3240 if you're planning on driving the car daily.

What are your plans?

Your new turbo not big enough for you phil?

naa macka im just doin some research for an engine build im thinking of doing in the future. the turbo will go on a 3ltr with a rb25 head thanks for the info mega gts4 and gtst v-spec were bouts in perth do u work

thanks mate i appreciate it it wont be for a little while though prolly another 4 months before i start at the moment im going through the rigmiral of buying my first house so once all thats sorted then im gonna start the build... thanks phil
