Hi guys!!! just though I introduce my self...im new to this forum and to the skyline scene really. A couple of weeks ago i decided that i needed a more powerful beast than my civic (+ i just turned 25:D :D )...after considering all the options and talking to a few mates i've decided on the R32 type M (if i can find one:rolleyes: )...my aim realistically speaking is for around 300kw at the flywheel...anyhow that's just a quick intro 'bout me...hope to learn a lot of tech in here...cheers:burnout: im out!

    • Despite the level up question, actually I do know what that is....it is a pressure sender wire.  So check out around the oil filter for an oil pressure sender, or maybe fuel pressure near the filter or on the engine. Possibly but less likely coolant pressure sensor because they tend to be combined temp/pressure senders if you have one. Could also be brake pressure (in a brake line somewhere pre ABS) but maybe I'm the only one that has that on a skyline.
    • Pull codes via the self-diagnosis procedure. As far as I can tell this is just a sign of transmission issues but not a code unto itself.
    • Hi All, putting the engine back together and everything is perfect except have this plug left over.. any ideas what it is for and where it goes? Is on cold side under the intake plenum *note not a stock plug, as everything has been modified Cheers
    • Sounds like a misfire. Check fuel pressure and don't even think about going into boost while it's like this unless you enjoy engine rebuilds.
