We are a small workshop that has opened up on the northside. We offer a full range of services from basic servicing and performance upgrades for all models. We have recently purchased a Power Fc dyno datalogit which allows us to more accuratly tune all model vehicles with these computers, and we hope to have a 1200hp 4WD Dynapack dyno early in the new year. We have a number of performance bolt on parts in stock as we speak and have access to suppliers in Japan, Hong Kong, Taiwan and china.

Our Address is

5/150 Edmondstone st

Newmarket

Brisbane

ph - (07) 3356 9401

Please feel free to drop in any time to have a look around and have a chat to any of the staff members we are more than happy to answer any of your questions

thanks

Welcome aboard

It's good to see some more tuners on the Nth side , keep us all in touch with upgrade's for the workshop and any special deals you may have. Maybe a good idea to have a grand opening day with a BBQ, give's us an excuse to come and checkout the shop.

again good luck with the business

Nice collection , I hope you plan to bring that 34 to the SAU massive cruise !!! would be a great chance to meet and greet hand out cards and discuss bussiness (and for us to drool over the 34)

I went in and had a look and a chat, was very very impressed with the workshop, and the cars they had in there were mighty impressive. Had a sit down and a talk about my line and what I wanted to do to it , and some minor work that needs doing now and will definitily be taking it in to see what these boys can do as they listened to me and explained what they recomended with a great deal of profesialisim (is that a word?)

Well done !

Beau (Blue Leader)

Know all the guys that run GT Auto Garage and can vouch for there experience, professionalism and knowledge. Genuine good guys, the technicians there have been working on my cars since my first perfomance Nissan (5 years ago) and recently fitted some aftermarket stuff to my current 32 gt-r.. Cant wait till the dyno appears, will be a truely one stop shop!!

hmmm, I believe you left a business card on my GTR and a mate's GTR last Thurs night at Toowong. Might have to drop in and say hello, I have a air leak at the rear of the plenum atm, not looking forward to removing that. . . . . .

Hi I'm looking for some one to help me with my r32 gts-4 skyline I have had the rb20 taken out and am looking to put in the rb26dett in. But before I put it in I would like to spend about $5000 on internals. What can you do for me? B)

    • I refer you to this thread on PF, by someone who knows what he's doing. Paints a good picture of the humble AD09.
    • Ha, I've never pressed the X in all these years incase it removed the notification for all Admins
    • I don't know, I've never done it that way, but 1. While it is an interference engine, there is still clearance between the valves and the piston at all points in the regular timing cycle 2. There is not a lot of distance before you can't catch the top of the valve stem any more I don't know if 2 is greater or less than 1. But 3. If it doesn't work out you are f**ked, engine is coming out to disassemble so it is a big bet.
    • Semi slicks are horrible for road use, just use a high performance road tyre unless you really need the maximum grip. Noisy, unpredictable (amazing, until they are not), expensive due to very high wear and not good in cold and particular wet. And yes, it is a thing to store cars on stands instead of tyres if you know they are going to be parked up long term.....but who ever realises that a short park is going to stretch into years before it is out again!
    • I know in Australia you'll definitely get above 30c. Parked in the shade in Summer you'll be above that. 😛 But in cooler climates, you might get that warm driving on the highway for a bit, but you'd never get to full heat temp. I'll try and find some of my historical tyre temps between Aus summer and winter (be aware immin the warmer area of Aus too.)
