Injector Lag Time For Pfc

well ive finaly gotten my hands on some goodies to tune with and ive got the motor on the stand torn down ready to be rebuilt, however ive got some questions about setting the pfc up.

first off according to what i can make out in the apexi manual i need to know the injector lag time setting for the old injectors as well as the new injectors to compensate for the upgrade, so ive got a set of greddy/denso 720cc squirters but no idea what lagtime is for them.

anyone have an idea?

rb25 stockies are 370cc / 0.528ms injectors according to the manual.

you need to find out what lag time your new injectors have before you can use them correctly. to work out the correction divide the smaller stock by the larger units

370 / 720 = 0.51 = %51

lag different (pretend the new ones are 0.920msec)

stockies are 0.77msec lag time

0.920 - 0.770 - = 0.15ms

so you would enter this into the lag time for each injector.

this is assuming they each flow the same amount and are brand new, if the

aren't i think you put the highest flowing one in #6 followed by #1 and then following that pattern, but someone else can confirm that.

thats all taken from the powerfc manual so it should be ok as a rough guide, best to get a tuner to sort it out / prevent incorrect settings being used
