Rb20det Problem

hi guys im only new to this site and i just recently bought a new car. i got a vl turbo with an rb20det in it. now i wanted to hook up a monster tacho to the car as it dosent have a tacho so i went to pick the signal up from the ecu and i have the diagram and i know its pin 7 but my problem is that wire isnt hooked up to were ever its ment to go so i was wondering if any one knows were it goes so i can hook it up and get it workin any help would be appreciated thanks

that depends on how much of the origonal harness is entact.

you may have to hook it up.

make sure your reading the diagram corectly(not upside down)

also nissan tach signal is a +12volt or +5 or somthing square wave signal.

the autometre needs a -12volt signal so it wont work. you need to get a tach adapter that converts the +to a- one
