hmmm, power-to-weight ratio is same as a stock r32 gtst. Im keeping my eye on it as it will probably handle and feel like my r32 but with everything being new and not rattling/falling apart haha If someone comes up with a turbo kit for it, it should be pretty good. However, I would have prefered to have a reliable Toyota engine...

stock ecu will not like 550cc injectors. You will need a tune with any larger injectors put in. I asked Trent for a tune off another car with larger injectors so I could have the car driveable to his workshop. You could always do something like that, but dont expect great fuel economy or for it to be safe (if its leaning out)

ah yeah i remember. With the clean r32 GTR. SARD's were the cheapest on ebay at the time, reputable brand and it was a direct replacement for GTR. (i had gtr stock injectors wired in which failed, so easier to replace with sard gtr's) It's also good to replace the injector plugs as they will no doubt be coroded/rusted. Mine were green, no idea how any voltage went through it... I failed E*P*A because the inspector told me my injectors should be red and not purple, so whatever he gets make sure to paint them to stock colour. However, he wont pass EPA with a powerfc whereas with a nistune and tuned to pass emissions will

Sell the PowerFC and use it to pay for injectors + nistune.

Its going to be hard to find a direct stock replacement. You are better off picking up some larger denso/sard injectors off ebay (which are low imp) and buy a nistune board for his ecu. I picked up some Sard 550cc GTR injectors for like $500. Throw in another $200 for the nistune board. $700 all up and opened the door for future tuning

lol dont think it would flow well with the micolour front end respray. If ive spent good coin already, have to follow through!

japanese owner removed spoiler (3 holes) and fitted a c-west gt-wing (12 holes). So the bootlid is covered with black tape and speed holes haha. Too many holes to weld & fix so need to replace with a new bootlid. I have a red gtr bootlid, thinking of pulling off the spoiler (2 holes), welding them and spraying the boot black..that would be like a $300-$400 job ontop of the price of the bootlid ($150~) Could probably sell the gtr spoiler for $100 though... on another note, my roof has completely faded and is a nice white now. Clear coat has come off. 5yrs of Australian sun has killed it Roof respray + bootlid respray + sideskirts + rear pods spray = $$$$ Need to drop by micolour and ask for price of damage
