  1. :wavey: don't mind hcr32... deep down he knows his 32 is getting old lol :)
  2. Hi guys, I've tried doing a search on this, but can't seem to find anything about the difference between the "long type" and "short type". I've noticed that I can get higher flowing injectors for my car, but am often given the option of a long type or a short type... Which would fit my engine? (RB25DET in a series 2 R33)
  3. Can someone please let me know if this has been installed right? Is it ok to have that second fuel pressure regulator without a vacuum hose to it? The lowest pressure I can get it down to is about 48psi. I also had a Walbro fuel pump installed. I'm also still having fueling issues. Up high I can only get the AFR's to be around 12:1 -> 12.7:1, and I'm only running 11psi!!! My mods include: FMIC, full 3" exhaust from turbo back, high flow cat, pod in cold air box, greddy profec B spec 2, and power fc. Do I need new injectors? I don't think it should be running that lean!!!
  4. There's a thread about this in one of the other sections... You can also reset it by shorting 2 of the pins on the connector under the interior fuse box (drivers side)... Search for the thread... it's all there. Turn key to acc, short, watch the check engine light flash a sequence... acc off, turn key, start engine.. ecu will be reset. No battery terminal crap and no loss of stereo settings etc... **edit: this is for r33 s2's... don't know if it's the same for s1's...
  5. eek... don't like this defect business. Glad I didn't go for a drive tonight.
  6. Spotted a 4 door 33 on Silverwater Road on Sunday night. Slowed down to wave but just got given the death stare, so I burned off. Then Moanie did the same and they didn't acknowledge her or anything. Muchly rude. Then I spotted a couple of hoons in line's... one white, one grey... hoons... damn hoons... tsk tsk
  7. Thanks guys steve, clutch was done a month ago with a 5kg flywheel so that's all sorted hmm z32, I've still got the stock turbo, and only plan on going maybe 2540. Do you think I'd still need a z32 afm?
  8. Hey dude, I have one. Each setting affects the settings of the others. It's a pain in the arse to tune on the road. The settings would vary from car to car too, depending on your turbo, air filter, and exhaust. Here's my setting for 11psi 1997 r33 gtst, full 3" exhaust, hi flow cat, pod air filter, and fmic. HI Boost -> 50% Gain -> 15% Set Gain -> 53 Warn -> 14 Peak -> ON
  9. UPDATE: Power FC is in.... ~200rwkW and 500Nm - 11psi... but problems... At full throttle and 100% injector duty cycle the AFR only read 12.0 Checked the fuel pressure and after a couple of hard runs it dropped from 40psi to 35psi Fuel pump gone? Any ideas anyone? I'm getting a new fuel pump and fuel pressure regulator installed next week, as that's what my mechanic/tuner suggested, then retune. Do you think that will fix the problem? Forgot to mention the car drives like a fricken dream now. So smooth and power throughout the rev range.
  10. Spotted so many cool cars yesterday at Incar Motorsport (Wetherill Park), while I was getting my car worked on and tuned. Spotted this fully worked RB26 engine out of an R34. I was offering them my engine and $500 to put this in my car. They didn't want to... Mean I say, MEAN! 4 door R33 with an RB26dett big turbo'd Skyline 'excitd' (he wanted this posted up) :wavey: dude looks like moanie's car, except with better looking rims and a number plate that isn't wonky (everytime I think of your car I can see the wonky number still moanie!! I need to see it more with the new brackets )

  16. I bought one of those random orbital buffers from Kmart, and used the Meguiars 3 step polishing system. I only used the orbital buffer for the 1st step (slight cut), and 2nd step (polish), then just used cloths for the carnauba wax. When I first got my car the paint looked clean but was incredibly rough. If you looked closely at it there were tiny little black spots all throughout the paint too. Now it's as smooth as a baby's butt
  17. Wow, the car's come a long way!! Found this photo while doing a google image search for nissan skyline's:
  18. Moanie's trying to catch bogan's again... pfft... hehe

  23. woah! Another blown tyre. Atleast yours was able to be taken off. A whole group of us stopped to help a GTR with a spanner stuck in it's tire. Moanie posted a shot somewhere...
  24. got a better photo of it? looks interesting!
  25. Sensibly? you didn't see him go into and come out of that last 25km/h hairpin... That wasn't sensible!!! LOL
