  1. I think I might also buy a couple of club locks, and modify one so it fits over the clutch, brake, and accelerator and locks them together. I'm positive I saw something like this (an actual lock made to lock the clutch, brake, and accelerator together) for sale on the uas website years ago... I can't find it anymore though
  2. what's going on with all these cars getting stolen? i'll also keep an eye out for ya.
  3. Pea soup outside at the moment...
  4. Hmmm...it is illegal isn't it. Pitty it's really easy to do on our cars . Yeah... maybe you should post in the japan section.... lol
  5. So who's meeting at Thornleigh, and at what time before going to Waitara... Or is everyone just going straight to Waitara?
  6. Mustn't have been a smart crook there apleX. You'd think he'd just cut the siren wires, break them off the dash and throw them out of the car before he started trying to hotwire it.
  7. So what time are the people going to thornleigh meeting at thornleigh?
  8. Spotted Benty, red r33 series 2 out the front of IBM dropping someone off.. I waved but don't think he saw me Where's the love?!?
  9. This thread is like one of those 10cm supré skirts.... It gets all the attention!!!!

**EDIT shonen changed his sig.. damnit **
  11. what lazy-bastard said. If you check it out it is actually really easy to hit the switch with a long, wide, thin metal object. In not very much time the passenger door would be open and nothing broken.
  12. so where's everyone meeting? Thornleigh or Waitara?
  13. If you haven't disabled the above switch, then even with the alarm people will still be able to unlock your passenger door and get in in under a minute, without breaking anything.
  14. Hmm...I'm not sure how to do that. Does anyone have a wiring diagram of the drivers door controls? All I know is that the brown wire coming from there completes the circuit that unlocks the passenger door. I've currently just shaped some plastic and stuck it either side of the switch.
  15. We're all talking about this switch. The one with the key on it. I've shaped some plastic and stuck the plastic either side of the switch. Switch disabled now too

  17. spotted Shaolin in a white merc driving past dural maccas... I think.... or it was atleast his family's merc..
  18. yes i did search.... The only thread I found which was alot more help than the thing you linked was the following: http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/sh...sable+door+lock did you read my question? -> nope! What you've linked me to does NOT answer my question. I also have a series 2. Auto lock and unlock while driving is not a feature on series 2 cars. I even posted in that thread on the 3/10/2004. Gee... thanks for jumping to conclusions and branding me an idiot before you even read my question. I am refering to the switch on the drivers door which you can lock and unlock the passenger door with. Does anyone know of any other way of disabling this without "cutting the brown wire". Is there a fuse somewhere? Is cutting this wire the only thing that can be done to disable this switch? Thankyou again.....
  19. Is there any way of disabling the door unlock switch (on the drivers door) other than cutting the "brown" wire? Does anyone know if there is a fuse for this that can be removed? cheers, wil..
  20. Check your timing....
  21. Most workshops I went to will only machine it to make the top flat again. They won't "deliberately lighten" the stock flywheel. The reason I was given was that if you lighten it, you weaken it. If it's too weak it can shatter, and if it shatters while you're driving the fragments are likely to break through into the cabin and cut your feet off. If you want a lightweight flywheel, I'd recommend getting something like this: from Unique Autosports www.nismo.com.au I bought one and had it installed when the new clutch went in. I noticed the difference instantly.
  22. series 2 bro But I was on castle hill road at that time yesterday
