  1. I'm in too.. 12th of May is a suggestion. I vote for Lane cove to the Blue Mountains and back along Bell's Line.
  2. I think mine came from Autech with the Carozzerria which has a "diversity antenna" which I couldn't use. There was no antenna and booster in the back where it should be.. nuts huh. Reverse camera hooked up just fine, just got to make sure you connect the reverse wire so it flicks to the camera automatically. Yup installed it myself too. Hehe the wife had a fit when she saw my 'new' car in bits in the driveway.
  3. Yes, install wasn't too bad, but you do need to remove a few things to get to it. Follow the G35 install guide on Youtube. Plays most movies i've downloaded, MP3s and TV works. Sat nav is sweet and gets good signal even in the city. I put the GPS antenna in the passenger pillar to keep it out out the way.. to much crap on the dash. I would recommend buying a better TV antenna tho, because it is digital you want a better signal than the one that comes with the Eonon units. I bought one that sticks to the inside of the windscreen and it was at least 20% stronger signal strength.
  4. I use my M35 2.5 as a daily driver using a tank per week and getting around 14L in "mostly" peak hour traffic. It is a lovely place to be...
  5. I pulled the Carozzerria that came with the Axis out and put in a GPS/DVD/USB/TV unit from Eonon, a G2226DA:
  6. Thanks for that, couldn't work out why the rear sunroof wasn't opening... checked for the slide switch up front and hey presto the sunroof was locked. Unlocked and the sunroof operates flawlessly. This forum is great, thanks Jezboosted
  7. Done - car drives nice and smooth now, no whine.. just the turbo
  8. Booked in to Pedders tomorrow to change it for me. They quoted me $100 if I brought them the hub or $200 if I just bring the car in.
  9. Just heard back from the mechanic who put it on the hoist and confirmed it is the front driver side wheel bearing. Local Nissan dealer have two in stock, and quoted me $222 ex gst - going to pick one up now.
  10. Ok - good idea I will get this done. Anyone recommend a mechanic in Northwest Sydney? Castle Hill or Blacktown area?
  11. 270 for 3hours labour for one side. Is it design fault why they don't last long or could it be that they are used in snowy/salty areas in Japan?
  12. My front passenger side was changed by the local mechanic who has a press. Ordered the part from Nissan. What I would really like to know is why do they go in the first place? How many kms on your m35?
  13. Same tyres as you Samuri. Mine doesn't make any noise until 35km/h then a low hum increases with pitch and volume as speed increases. Same here, no rotational noise and no play. Going to take it somewhere and put it on the hoist.
  14. So should I change the front driver side bearing instead of the rear passenger one? Sometimes I get a shudder like this one when I bump the synchro button: http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/topic/405046-front-end-shudder-under-power-and-steering-lock/page__st__20__p__6609715__hl__shudder__fromsearch__1#entry6609715
