what people are saying is that although you have no climate control, the flaps may still be open letting hot air in, my car gets a bit hot in the cabin and its got the engine that was made for it. so i think you can't completely get rid of the problem

does anyone know around how much it would cost to get a 2530 rebuilt (for gtr), with a new inlet wheel as well i was thinking of getting it done at hills motorsports, has anyone had work done there?

thats what i would be guessing, aren't sr20's low revving engines? I haven't driven many, but thats what i'm thinking i'd say if you wanted it be pulling still at those revs then you should've bought a skyline, feel free to correct me if i'm wrong though
