Ok, I *think* I know the answer, but time to check, before I spend $$ etc R33 '96 Series 2 T3/4 Hibrid Turbo FMIC Stainless Ducting 3" high Flow, all the way through Mines ECU Adjustable Fuel Reg Pod Etc, Etc. When I'm using the engine to brake, usually when i've been doing quite a few k's at motorway speeds (100-110), I get random pops/almost backfires. Usually only one or two, when slowing down for a roundabout etc..... It's noticable to me, but not to an uneducated passenger, so they're not too noisy. I think it's because i'm running rich atm, and am going to be changing ECU & getting a retune done soon (Which should fix it, and a little more power, I hope) (IIRC, I was running 12.5's on the mix at the last dyno) Any other thoughts?

Silly question - anyone know of a local motel etc to the meet? Driving back to Bathurst after the meal probably isn't such a good idea ;-) If anyone knows one nearby, can you pm me?

OMG. I went to fill up at the BP, and they wanted $1.23 !! (This was in Bathurst) I want the prices back down, dammit! What the worst people have seen recently?

This my seem like a silly question, but......... I'm getting pops when i'm using the engine for braking, and I *know* it's running rich, as it's currently using a mines ECU. (It's popping, mabee once or twice in 20-50km's of driving with roundabouts etc) I'm seriously looking at changing to a PFC asap, with the retune - will it get rid of the pops etc? TIA - Zeb

Heading for Paramatta on Sunday monring (10/11am) - Silver 33 St, with exactly the same kit etc as my car ;-) plated GOD 12A :-) Nice :-D but a *massive* can on the exhaust!!

Gah!!! I'd hoped to meet/see a few more 'line owners, but hey!! I saw a really tricked out Suzuki Swift!! j/k Good to meet a couple of peeps, but must go to the next one that has ppl that arrive within a few hours of the meet time etc.

The shocks aren't that hard at all, either... but some NSW roads really do suck. (I have a pic of part of the road I was travelling on)

Take one R33 GTST (96) - Standard seats. Mix with a good selction of hard road (200+Km of 'Rural' driving should do it) Add one fat wallet in right hand arse pocket. Bake well for a couple of hours. The result : Take a few days off work, and have a week of pain from a trapped nerve at the base of the spine. You have been warned. :Oops: Edit : also have a dose of the flu at the same time, so you can stand in corners, and be *Scared* to cough!!!! -------------------------------------------------------------- A Skyline R33, 25k. Fuel 40 AUD. The look on your face when you wake up the next morning and can't get out of bed.... Farking priceless. :cuss: :pissed:

I'm guessing it's still on :-) I'll be there, once i've removed the blocks of mud from the fmic, ducts and the wheels :-/ ('lines were never meant to be in mud deeper than 6"!!!!!! - Too fecking hard to clean... piles of mud sitting on all the front sills is wrong!) Now I know why Bathurst is considered 'rural' :spcow: :zap: Edit : Although it is funny to see ppls faces when you drive though a town *officially* in the middle of nowhere, and they're pretty much saying 'f*** me, that's a skyline' :headspin: Edit2 : Have now received true permission, the other half wants me to get *one* donut for her before she starts her diet on monday :-D Talk about a long distance take out!
