  2. rar. time for me to get my act in order and go meet... /me swallows coffee
  3. Well, it's still open, was last night, will check again tonight. It's normally open until a couple of days before. (I live mabee 4 blocks from the track) Oh, not meaning to be obvious, but the track is a two way (public) road, which ppl from a previous cruise didn't realise/care/remember :-S Got very interesting for a while....
  4. I'll be there, the track's looking good, as they're prepping for the race...... oh, if anyone is interested, i'll have a set of EL dials for a R33 for sale... you peeps have first dibs before I put it on the for sale section...
  5. It looks like they're expecting to be there about 11-12 (it's 30-40 mins from lithgo to Bx )
  6. t's dead easy for find..... It'll fit a hundred or so cars..... http://www.lithgow-tourism.com/images/townmap3.jpg Look for the P symbol, Center of the map, near the Number 5. If you're coming in from the Bell's Line Road, you'll drive past it, If you get to the cop shop, it's too far. (You can see the cop shop iirc, just before you turn into the car park)
  7. Hmm.... a mate of mine who's partially handicapped, he has to use hand controls (accel, brake etc) - When modding the car, they cut OFF the accel pedal, put a mating piece with butterfly nuts on the pedal, so that you can re-attach it if a normal person was driving.... (This was to stop him from hitting the pedal by accident, as he had no feeling in his legs) He used to take the pedal with him, if he was parked in a dodgy place.... Might do the job ;-) (As a joke, he used to ask passengers to hand him the accelerator from the cubby hole when driving ;-0 )
  8. What time do you expect to get to lithgo? 10/10.30am ish? I'll come up and meet... The two best places at lithgo are either Macca's (which is always busy) or the public car park just off Mort St, which has loads of space.... (anyone who's been on a run to BX usually stops at the car park)

(Off main street, great food, bookings needed) Both the family & the Knicker don't need reservations.... Will add more later.... Will add to this in a sec
  10. Heya, I'm in Bathurst, and for luchtime, would ppl like me to book somewhere? There are a couple of decent places, from $8-15 for lunch..... - Zeb
  11. Update for people, it was air in the the system, I only needed to in put a *tiny* bit of fluid in whilst bleeding/forcing the air out. ( less than 5% of the bottle, if that ) NigelS : That's exatly what I found, loose clamps on the resevior now fixed thanks! Thanks for all the replies - for the ammount of noise it made, very little fluid and effort to fix! (I moved the car to a nice sandy area nearby, to reduce wear&tear, as no stands to hand... when moving the steering etc.) Sambo33 : The fluid did look dirty - Next oil changed, will be changing the fluid too. Fat32 : Thanks for the pm's too.
  12. Thanks Morlock, i'll give it a try this morning.
  13. Heya all.... From being cold, i'm getting quite a bit of 'whirring' noise on startup, and have since worked out that the noise is from the power steering..... It's rather noisy when cold, and does disappear after the car has warmed up. (Move steering wheel, more noise, almost like you hear on some cars when you push full lock) I have noticed that there is some fluid on the outside of the pipe leading to the steering rack (where the steering wheel rack joins) and some more leakage on the join from the resevoir. Is this the pump failing, or is there a belt etc that needs to be replaced? regards, Zeb
