  1. My replacement will be voted in. I don't end up at a lot of cruises because I generally don't enjoy it - why on earth is my attendance at a cruise important? Willowbank - don't have the time, don't have the car, not really that interested. I would like to see more cruises and major events organised by everyone, we need more do-ers, and less whingers who don't do much. If you are going to have a swipe or criticise, first ask yourself; what was the last major cruise i organised, or charity event, or track day, or social event, or dyno day? the big problem ive had lately is a shagged net connection at work, which has hindered uploading membership apps, which is happening tonight. we are totally transparent.
  2. My net has been down, membership applications and sponsor lists should be online by 1/9/04. Thanks.

    wheel width laws

1.3 times widest OPTIONAL tyre. Some research could get you some more width to play with. Chaos said you can got quite larger than that..... He means to say you can go quite a bit wider than that, wether it is legal or not is another story.
  15. sorry 8th august sunday. this thread was meant as a supplement to the original
  16. but really, i dont care what the car is, its whether the driver gets restepc or not.
  17. One with semi slicks, obviously driven hard, with the right bits (coilovers, turbo, brakes etc) and a cage/stripped interior. or one that uses the old adage, "actions speak louder than words" ie - is known for its performance, not its looks (belgarion etc)
  18. SAU Club Launch Day. Its all finally come together. The meeting time has changed for security reasons. The event now starts @ 12:30pm. Everyone should be there by 1pm. It is being held @ the Beenleigh Showgrounds. Enter through gate 6 (which is off Milne St, Beenleigh) and drive through, youll go through another gate and thats where we will be set up. Milne St is very easy to get to off the highway, look up whereis.com.au or a refidex on pg 284, B3. $10 Entry per car. This gets you entry into the venue and any/all of the competitions. $10 is nothing really, but we have a number of costs to cover. There WILL BE A BBQ! $1 for a sausage in bread, $1 for a drink. There will be softdrink and water available. Competitions. 1. Show and shine - if your car is half alright, go in this. We want to get as many entrants, with as diverse range as possible, I don't care what it is, have a punt! 2. Sound off - Judges will be on hand, probably multiple awards for different categories. 3. Peoples choice - the comp everyone will be in. Everyone will vote for their favourite car, for their own reasons, most votes wins. Could be a real surprise this one. Membership and shirts will be available on the day, so bring some cash! A list of all our sponsors will be handed out on the day, and they will be there to talk to everyone about their businesses, so you'll all know who they are and what they do. Big thanks to bob jane, automotive technique, tuff toys, brake distributors australia, cosmos mechanical. 0411870159 if you get lost or need to know anything. slip.
  19. Check qld forum for an alert thread regarding the launch, and the original post in this thread has been edited. I've been trying for weeks to organise a time with the lady who books the venue. I sent her the money ages ago, but only just got her to meet with me. Doing it just a week away has it fresh in everyones head too.
  20. Heroin will be provided on the night.
  21. agree. a member of this forum tuned his own pfc on a 4dr R33 GTSt with exhaust, fmic and boost (std turbo) and ran a 12. youll get more out of a pfc - and if you get the hand controller, you have access to heaps of data on the motor.
  22. i have a work car, its brilliant being able to get into a nice auto car, with your skyline at home in pieces without it being an inconvenience. get a cheap 2nd car - it also puts less kms on the skyline, less wear and tear, expensive maintenance etc. This will give you a bit better resale value when its time to sell, and a lot more flexibility when servicing or modifying.
  23. very good point with the track tyre thing - very much a personal choice thing. what rotors are you planning to run gtrman?
  24. rb25det head from r33 gtst with intake/exhaust manifolds. Perfect for twincam conversion $500 [email protected] brisbane.
  25. how wide are the wheels, what offset are they?
