    this cars had a new CAS put in so it shouldnt be the CAS AAC is clean as a whistle cause i cleaned it myself and put a new gasket on it. Intake gaskets were checked a while ago and all ok, no leaks. Coil packs are 20 years old so might be time to swap, plus the plugs are approaching a year old.

    good stuff! You cant get heat resistant gloss? huh? Do you mean in a can? Ive got house of Kolor on mine and its no problems so far. Keen to see those pics!

    The previous scheme i had in there was better. I regret spraying it again. The first time around it was silver engine with black plenum, blue hoses and blue cam gears and that looked a lot neater. Ahhh the benefit of hindsight. Oh well you live and you learn

    Hi chris welcome to sau! Glad to see the old girl is still treating you well. On a good tank you might be able to push 550kms to the tank. Maintenance is a very big thing as was said earlier. If you know the history of the car and what the previous owner did then you have the added assurity of peace of mind

    Doesnt that tell you something?...........Youve found the problem yourself. The wiring to the AFM is dodgy and should be re-done. Of course the other AFMs will show no difference since youre only changing the meter and not the wiring. I had the same problem and bought a brand new plug from one of the sponsors on here and it fixed the problem.

    Have you thought about the pressure loss from the core? Also creates another source of blockage What wrong with only being oil cooled? All that extra effort for cooler oil can be had with a normal engine oil cooler

    i think he meant the lpg gtr will need to refill a lot more often than a petrol gtr due to the reasons given in the posts in this thread.

    Towing another car with a short stoke, low capacity engine & short wheelbase vehicle is just plain stupid, irresponsible and dangerous. The thing will likely fishtale all over the place at speed. Maybe have a look into the laws that promote safety when towing another vehicle to get a better idea on what to tow a car with. ie 4WD, fairlane, statesman
