i think it was ok, not to many car shows around, so anything is better then nothing...if there was more cars would of been better. still filled a few hours in my sat morning...

unable to tune ut fully as my wastegate is to small but we got some done to a safe level, im rev limited at 5krpm now, decided to open it up a little goin onto the high way and it puls very very hard.. steve might be able to tell us more about it..

i dont really wana name what i paid as i guess every rebuild would be different, and alot of parts you find you need along the way, probly best to ring john for a more acurite price..

um i dont really know what hp we will get, im not a tuner, untill i get a new diff and gearbox i dont want shit to go bang... im hopin 400+ on a safe tune,who knows.. dint take to long month and a half, but we waited on parts more then anything, and the chinese new years aparently hold things up this time of year...

hey guys, just thought ild post up about my rebuild.. 94 r33 rb25 my old engine was running 270-280hp atw and although it would still get down and boogie, i decided i wanted to get mid-low 300hp mark but then i got a little carried away. i wanted to keep the rb25 in there too once the engine was out and machined ect ect then we threw in aries87m forged pistons n rings eagle forged rods arp head and main studs tomei poncams tomei 1.5mm head gasket acl racing bearings (main and big end) full nissan gasket kit os giken twin plate clutch turbo side custom hi mount s/s manifold garret gt35r turbo with braided lines turbosmart ultragate wastegate new s/s intercooler piping a/m 80mm throttle body and cable greddy plenum hks ssq bov denso fuel pump nismo 720cc injectors new timing belt wolf3d v4 k & n pod filter themostat i think thats about it, all the work was done by steve and the guys at top racing, who did an awsome job and were very helpfull (as i dont know to much about engines) and if there was a problem i was called straight away.... i only got it back monday and only lastnight finished my set km's to run it in, while running it in the rev limiter was set at 4000rpm, so shes goin back in there hopefully this week for the final tune, and i'll let ya know what numbers we get out of her,... a new diff and gearbox is on the save list next to we can go a bit harder maybe, but im not a tuner so i dont know ahhaha.. john also painted the engine and timing covers for me in an awsome white and purple pearl, some pics belove cheers guys

dale alcock is the only builder out there who instead of banging up houses and getting paid, is looking at taking one team from every trade and putting the sub contractors on wages to work directly for him, "apprentice training teams" and he is supplying them with 2 apprentices a year then another 2 the next and so on, he even has a full time apprentice manager. worked for alot of builders and dale is the only builder we have worked for were quality comes before "hurry up and get this house finished" .. he has quality control manages, construction manages, all sorts the amount of people he has working behind the scene to ensure quality and that customers are happy is unbelivable, best builder in australia... i think it depends, alot of trades are good trades but when some tradies get told "i dont care if the walls are out, its gonna rain tomoro and we need these walls rended so dont worry, just wack it on" so the house supervisors can sometimes be pushy, i think if they finish it before the agreed hand over date they also get a slight bonus, i think dont hold me to that"

could it be the stock turbo hi flowed maybe??

i found shannons the best, and you dont get told how much your car is worth, you can agree on your cars value, wich is good if its heavily modded, i got my car neally doubled in insurance value and was only another 800 a year, i found with just car i notified them of every mod i did wich was about 10-15 at the time, and at the end of the year when i got the renewal with my mod list for my car on it all they had was "hks cam gear" i shouldnt have to chase it up and feel like there trying to cut corners on me, i guess with a stocky it would be fine to use them, but if ya going to mod your car i would use shannons
