  5. yay! they do good work... the reason I am alive is because of them
  6. sweet... well i have the rear part, and the yoke from the 'box, so just need the front half made up and all balanced.... that is less than i expected!
  7. Thats all i want too.....please Santa...please. same here.. not gonna happen tho
  8. Whats a round about price for this kind of work... will be needing one in the v near future and would like to know what kind of damage im in for!
  9. dont encourage him! :sly:
  10. bugger off 175
  11. was the compression test done warm or cold?
  12. 'spose i better do the right thing lol... someone bid 150 on the dyno, then i bid to 160 !!
  13. that price seems expensive for the motor alone! I think thats a price for the motor+all the bits (turbo/manafolds etc etc)... ask them what you are actually getting, I think you can get a bare engine for ~600 up here
  14. I would not use it on the plugs... the little metal clips should hold the plugs on for you!
  15. no contact cleaner is v different ! Go get some! that stuff is gold! but $20-30 a bottle... bad luck with the plugs.. tho I got this from another thread re rb26 injectors into rb20 plugs... "The only reason the RB20 plug wont go on is there is a small plastic protrusion in the Inj. socket. This small lug just needs to be cut away with a stanley knife to make the std plug fit on OK - a fairly quick and easy fix."
  16. check out this guy http://www.swmotorsport.com.au/catdown.htm last time I looked they had all sorts of std rb20 stuff... last time i looked it was about 110 per piston + 180 for rings + 120 for all the bearings + 350 for full gasket kit etc etc... it adds up...
  17. I'll go $110 on the Dyno time
  18. I do have the workshop man.. but it's at home, you would have to wait until 3pm qld time if you want me to check it... but like I said.. follow joels suggestion
  19. What joel said should work.. start the car.. unplug.. just dont wait too long.. you dont want to be working on a hot motor!
  20. I didnt bother doing that.... just spilled a bit of fuel lol Just be careful.. the line is pressurised and will squirt out... I dont actually know where the fuse is in a 32.. mine is in a S13 and I had the loom made the to suit the s13 fuse box
  21. well if you got any toubles let me know... it's quiet here at work so will probably be crusing the boards all day
